Position Summary
The Cath Lab RN plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.
Position Details
Participates in circulating and patient management of stable and critical Cardiovascular patients. Maintains patient’s hemodynamic stability and intervenes if instability occurs.
Principle duties consists of assisting physicians in monitoring, collecting, and processing radiological and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional examinations. The Cath Labnurse administers medications according to the physician’s instructions before, during and after cardiac procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Work Experience:
Must have aminimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience.
Essential Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Nursing: If hired after 2013, must obtain Bachelor degree in Nursing within 3 years of employment date.
Non-essential:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
Other information:
Licenses Essential: Current license as Registered Nurse in Florida.
Certifications Essential: ACLS
Certifications Preferred: Certification in Specialty of Nursing
