Position Summary
In accordance with LRH's benefit philosophy, proactively researches and conducts analyses to determine the organizations' competitive level. Performs a variety of duties related to adminstration and analysis of employee health/welfare plans and retirement plans. This includes managing a strategic benefit plan that is designed to facilitate employee engagement and provide a benefit package that aids in talent acquisition. This position performs specialized work that involves extensive benefits functional knowledge. This position will aid in driving the process to promote data integrity and ensure delivery of accurate reporting of benefits data. This position conducts the utilization analysis necessary to track and trend data, develops and delivers metrics and creates extensive, focused reporting packages used to identify business problems and/or guide and support business decisions.

Essential Experience:
2 to 4 years of relevant experience with a strong background in human resources, compensation and/or benefits, including analytics, creation of metrics driven processes, program administration, etc.
Experience Preferred:
Healthcare experience helpful but not required.
Certification Essential:
Certifications: Per department or hospital requirements and relevant policies
Certification Preferred:
PHR or SPHR highly desirable; CCP, CEBS or CBP highly desirable.

- Work collaboratively with the Benefit, Compensation, Talent Systems (HRIS), Talent Delivery teams, and LRH internal departments as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to team members and managers with Benefit related issues or questions. Functions as first contact point for internal customers with respect to all LRH employee benefits plans. Presents need-based education seminars.
- Support, maintain, ensure accuracy and leverage the data in the Talent system (HRIS) as it pertains to health and welfare and/or retirement plans and programs. Understand and optimize all system functionality in support of health and welfare and/or retirement plan and program administration, and audit of performance, including partner vendor tools and implementation of interfaces.
- Collaborate on utilization and benchmarking data, metrics and reporting to recommend and drive business decisions related to health/welfare and retirement plans. In conjunction with our Talent Information System will help develop a strong metric reporting system to ensure benefit plan effectiveness, reporting monthly, Quarterly and annually on performance results.
- Support and help develop the benefit strategy and related vendor relationships to ensure exceptional partnership internally with key stakeholders both internally and externally to advance the health, wealth and overall well-being of our workforce.
- Present proactive communication and benefit related education to New Hire Orientations, Open Enrollment, and key audiences across the organization.
- Responsible to understand and communicate benefits laws, programs and policies to stakeholders. This includes performing the research to make recommendations to ensure continued compliance. Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and work with other Talent team members to educate managers.
- Perform quality checks of benefits-related data on a routine cadence. Regularly conducts audits of benefit plan data, benefit payments, plan documents and policies to ensure compliance.
- Maintain and optimize systems for the delivery of health/welfare and retirement plans between LRH and our vendors. This includes open enrollment. Analyze methods to improve workflow and processes, with a goal toward lean efficiencies and automation, including reviewing and recommending appropriate use of vendor resources.
- Oversee health/wealth and retirement plan(s) to assist with the completion of monthly invoicing, annual renewals, required Non-Discrimination Testing, and all legally mandated reporting. Responsible for administering benefit compliance and communications.

- Strong written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to interact and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis skills, techniques and tools (SQL, Excel, statistics, Data Exploration, Visual Analytics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all staff levels and backgrounds and especially the ability to communicate technical results to non-technical team members.
