Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products or services
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management software
- Handle retail math calculations, including balancing cash drawers and managing daily cash flow
- Assist customers with retail lending options, loan processing, and collections when applicable
- Enter data efficiently into financial software systems for loan applications, account updates, and transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain the security of cash handling procedures and adhere to store policies for cash drawer management
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or banking is highly preferred; retail store experience is a plus
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency in 10-key typing for accurate data entry and cash handling
- Knowledge of financial services such as loan processing, collections, and retail lending is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with retail math concepts, cash management procedures, and cashiering operations
- Experience with financial software systems or point-of-sale (POS) technology is desirable
