Job Overview
DELTA Fabricating is seeking a dynamic Welder to join our growing team.
The welder is responsible for welding and grinding enclosures, sheet metal fabrications, and other component parts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and understand component part drawings
- Correctly weld and grind gauges and distinct types of steel following welding notes on drawings
- Operate a torch, plasma cutter and other tools as required
- Identify quality issues that may arise and direct them to supervisor for corrective action
- Focus on quick and quality productivity while being always safety conscious
- Ensure all parts are marked correctly

Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- One to two years of welding experience
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing production or willingness to learn
- 5 years of stainless-steel welding experience preferred
- MIG welding a plus
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
- Basic computer skills are a plus
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
