Senior Payroll Coordinator

Position:

We are looking for a detail-oriented self-driven Senior Payroll Coordinator. If you are drawn to roles where the focus is to help others, have a keen attention to detail, and want to grow your payroll experience, this may be the role for you! We are not offering remote work or relocation assistance for this position. Candidates must be able to work in our office located in Kent, Washington, three days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with Payroll Supervisor on the complete payroll process from timesheet entry review to payment, including commission and bonus reporting;
• Collect the necessary documentation for accurate payments and withholding, while ensuring controls remain intact;
• Assists Payroll Supervisor with system development and implementation of systems, filing and compliance requirements;
• Research and troubleshoot issues, particularly paycheck discrepancies; PTO inquiries.
• Become a system expert of ADP Workforce Now; seeking ways to automate processes and enhance the end user experience.
• Manages the Payroll inbox for incoming requests from the field timely.
• Work with the Payroll Supervisor on timely calculations and withholding of garnishment and medical orders.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Customer Service oriented is a must.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or other related field or equivalent work experience
• Fundamental Payroll Certification desired
• Strong organizational skills
• Intermediate skills in Excel
• 5 years of Payroll experience with multi-state payroll experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience dealing with Human Resources matters preferred
• ADP Workforce Now experience desired
• Ability to problem solve problems and resolutions
• Ability to collaborate as a team player
