What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Custodian position at Lake Williamson Christian Center?
We are looking for a responsible OVERNIGHT custodian/guest services associate. The internal and external appearance of our buildings as well as the quality of service we provide to our guests is extremely important to us. The ideal candidate will be careful and thorough in cleaning and tidying the premises while being able to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces.
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets.
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers, and restock disposables (e.g. soap, brown towels, etc.).
- Wipe mirrors and windows.
- Assist our maintenance and setup teams as needed, which could include shoveling snow from the sidewalks, lifting heavy items, moving tables/chairs, and other duties as assigned.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed.
Skills
- Working knowledge of methods and equipment used in janitorial work.
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds unaided.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Must be able to follow written instructions.
- Must be able to efficiently manage time.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to Work Flexible Hours, including weekends.
- High school diploma is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver's License.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
