Server/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic long term lead Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for serving amazing food, in a fast-paced environment. As a server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, quality control and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties

• Maintain positivity, teamwork, and culture a fun, enjoyable workplace
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations, answering questions about our craft beer and the drink menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining an service areas, including, cleaning surfaces, pre-buss tables, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Process customer orders accurately using cash registers, and our Lavu POS systems, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including banquets and fine dining events.
• Handle inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting needs to management
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous and proven experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Open and willing to be a part of our core team, longer term
• Knowledge of our food menu, craft beers, and cocktails
• Familiarity with POS systems, operations and retail math concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations.
• Bartending experience and/or willingness to cross train is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $6.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
