This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including administering and communicating HR policies, coordinating employee benefits and related documentation, and assisting with benefits enrollment and changes. Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in core Human Resources (HR) functions, including general HR support and employee relations.
- Knowledge of HR Management practices, such as staffing processes, performance documentation, and HR recordkeeping.
- Familiarity with HR Policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including federal and state employment regulations.
- Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain accurate, organized documentation and HR systems.
- Proficiency with standard office software and HR information systems; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; prior higher education or public sector HR experience is a plus.
