General Position Description
The HR Generalist provides full-cycle HR support, focusing on strategic and hands-on roles to enhance our people initiatives and HR processes. This hands-on position is a great opportunity to become a part of a growing company. This position is an on-site role, offering daily collaboration with our team at our Orlando office.
Responsibilities
- Constantly and proactively works to achieve the company's vision and goals through implementation of its HR policies and procedures.
- Promotes and encourages a safety-conscious attitude.
- Assists with the recruitment process, including tracking applicants, scheduling interviews, and drafting offer letters.
- Supports the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including training of new hires and completing/filing applicable paperwork.
- Assists with performance reviews, employee transfers, and employee relocations.
- Assists with benefits administration, open enrollment, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and reporting.
- Participates in project kickoff meetings and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintains accurate HR records and documentation utilizing HRIS and various Learning Management Systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will possess experience with a construction firm.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- PHR certification (or currently pursuing) desired.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and cost conscious.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems - UKG experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Teams.
