Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial aid processes, federal/state regulations, and compliance guidelines
- Proficiency in counseling students and families regarding aid options, eligibility, and application requirements
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills to manage documentation and ensure adherence to policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and engage with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in using financial software systems or databases (experience with higher education financial aid systems is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a college or university financial aid environment is preferred
