TITLE: Service Technician

SUPERVISOR: General Manager

SUMMARY
The Lake States Vending is the leading bar sports, gaming & entertainment industry service provider in supplying services such as gambling machines, pull tab machines, pool tables, dart boards, jukeboxes, redemption games, and leagues. We currently serve over 200 SE Wisconsin businesses including restaurants, bars, clubs, bowling alleys, convenience stores, and more. Our customers, the quality service and equipment we provide them are our #1 priority.

This Service Technician will move, install, set up, inspect, prep, repair, replenish and maintain LSV gaming equipment. This individual will document and report out on service, problems, and requests. Each day the service technician will have different assignments and tasks, work on various games and engaging with diverse clients. Experience with electronics and a valid driver’s license is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in arcade game repair, vending equipment repair, or electronic equipment repair.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • At least one year of relevant Service Technician experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong general mathematical skills
  • Ability to speak, read and understand basic directions
  • Some weekend work is required (usually one weekend a month)
  • Be willing to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays as needed

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshooting and repairing of all gaming and entertainment equipment; in addition, computers, boards, and parts on games.
  • Inspect and prep new equipment when necessary.
  • Assist with installation of gaming and entertainment equipment at various locations throughout the state of Wisconsin.
  • Drives company vehicle during scheduled daily distribution of product to machines at various locations on the route.
  • Document delivery, equipment distributed, service provided.
  • Communicates status of machines and customer account.
  • Provides quality customer service through regular interaction with account managers, owner, and employees.
  • Accounts for the security of all machines and merchandise on the route.
  • Keeps machines cleaned and maintained in proper working order. This includes route maintenance as needed.
  • Keeps daily inventory record of merchandise taken from warehouse stock.
  • Maintain company tools in proper working condition.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicle.

Customer relations

  • Represent Lake States Vending and yourself positively and professionally while out in the field.
  • Ensure that all customer interactions are always friendly and professional.
  • Work with customers to resolve issues and alleviate concerns.
  • Train customers on proper use of equipment, settings, and routine maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
