Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional, detail-orientated Patient Account Representative to join our Patient Access Services Department who can provide knowledge and customer service to our patients.
What Are We Looking For?
An individual who can ensure compliance with all state and federal billing regulations and reports suspected compliance issues to their respective Leads/Supervisors/Managers. Our Patient Account Representative conducts inquiries via telephone, mail, and fax, or electronically through payer websites or e-mail for follow-up of unresolved accounts. Contacting patients for additional information in order to ensure claims are processed and paid. In addition, excellent written and verbal communication paired with excellent customer service skills. Proficient in hospital & physician billing is highly desired. Education requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
An annual influenza vaccination is required.
