What Are We Looking For?
Lake Regional is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Histology Tech to join our Laboratory team. This position works under the supervision of the pathologist and performs a variety of histologic procedures to prepare tissue and other specimens for analysis. Responsibilities of the Histology Tech will include verifying proper collection, identification, and labeling of specimens, and performing instrument checks and maintenance, all while observing all safety procedures, including OSHA universal precautions. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and take responsibility for documenting and resolving problems in a timely manner. An Associate’s degree is required, ASCP Certification preferred.
An annual influenza vaccine is required.
