POSITION: PT Communication Disorders Instructor

JOB SUMMARY:
Lake Region State College is seeking a part-time Communication Disorder instructor to support our Speech-Language Pathology Paraprofessional (A.A.S.) program. This position would instruct 3-6 credits online asynchronous in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Specific courses of instruction would be: Language Theory & Treatment for SLPP, Language Disorders and Intervention for the SLPP, Techniques for SLPP, and Applied Phonetics for the SLPP.
Minimum Requirements: Terminal degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or related field, with years of experience in the field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capacity to build rapport with students, faculty and staff, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, documented successful teaching skills and experience with Microsoft Suite, Blackboard Learning Management System, and experience with the North Dakota University System. The successful applicant must be highly-motivated and self-directed.
SALARY: Per LRSC policy 400.35
