Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro | 1099 Independent Contractor | Weekly Pay
Accurate Communication Solutions, Inc. (ACS) is looking for dependable, mechanically inclined contractors to complete residential technology installations for customers of major big-box retailers.
What You'll Do:
- TV mounting, unboxing and setup — including TVs up to 110"
- Soundbar installation and basic wire/cable management
- Smart Home and low-voltage installations
- Equipment setup and troubleshooting
- Other residential technology installations
Pay & Scheduling:
- Approximately $100 per completed job
- Potential to earn approximately $500 per full day / $2,000 per week
- Paid weekly based on completed installations
- Mileage reimbursement available for qualifying travel
- Work available 7 days a week
- Choose the days you're available
- Routes provided approximately 2 days in advance
- Additional work may be available for contractors who want to earn more
Actual earnings vary based on the number and type of installations successfully completed.
What You'll Need:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable van, minivan, truck, or suitable SUV
- Basic professional installation tools (i.e. drill/impact driver, stud finder, level)
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to safely lift 70 lbs and install large TVs
- Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
Previous installation experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with TV mounting, satellite/cable, low voltage, home theater/AV, Smart Home, handyman work, construction or remodeling transfers well.
Helper Requirement:
Some installations require a second person due to TV size or other job requirements. As the independent contractor/Lead Installer, you are responsible for providing and directly compensating your own helper when one is required. Helpers are not hired or paid by ACS.
Independent Contractor Opportunity
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not an hourly employment position. Contractors are paid based on successfully completed installation work.
