What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant - Medical Staff Services position at LAKE REGION HEALTHCARE CORPORATION?
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions in support of the Medical Staff and the Medical Staff Services Department. The Administrative Assistant will assist with paperwork on medical staff credentialing, professional practice evaluation and continuing medical education. The incumbent has access to sensitive, confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidentially. The incumbent maintains established work procedures and must be able to determine priorities within imposed deadlines.
Other duties include but are not limited to: data management, supply ordering, provider education/provider regulatory compliance, all other department projects as assigned.
Hours/Shifts
80 hours biweekly, day shifts.
Compensation
Hourly Wage Range: $24.50-$29.27. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

- Education/Special Skills: Associate’s degree is preferred and experience in an office setting is required. Previous healthcare, human resources, or recruitment experience highly preferred.
- Community and LRHC service area knowledge is preferred.
- Must have the ability to communicate proficiently and professionally in both verbal and written methods.
- Computer knowledge and ability to schedule meetings is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Teams, and Outlook. Valid MN drivers license is required.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend the work site as scheduled; however, virtual work to meet deadlines will be permitted.
- Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to use good judgement, discretion, and handle confidential records.
