Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Manage custodial duties by restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare rooms for guests by ensuring all amenities are in place and the environment is welcoming.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred; experience in hotel settings is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving furniture as necessary.
