Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver personalized treatments that meet each client's unique needs. The Licensed Massage Therapist will create a welcoming environment, assess patient conditions, and utilize various massage techniques to enhance health outcomes. This is an amazing opportunity to easily get set up and start seeing clients. The room is set up and ready to go. We cover all the overhead, scheduling, and supplies so you can get to work on patients immediately. We have a large client base waiting to schedule with you!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and treatment goals
- Provide a variety of massage therapies including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to patient needs
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patient evaluation and feedback
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommended practices for ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments administered and patient progress in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment at all times
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advances in medical massage therapy
- Uphold patient service standards by delivering compassionate care and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proven experience with patient assessment, pain management, and various massage techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and best practices for client safety and comfort
- Prior experience in med spa settings or medical massage therapy is preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
