Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Lake Mohawk Golf Club
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week
Position Overview:
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced private club environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members, guests, and vendors warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and direct them appropriately.
- Manage member check-ins, reservations, and guest registrations accurately.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and messages.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with club staff to ensure smooth operations and seamless member experiences.
- Prepare and update menus, ensuring they are typed accurately, formatted consistently, and ready for distribution.
- Provide information on club amenities, events, and policies.
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with members and staff.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus.
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred, preferably in hospitality, private clubs, or a similar setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and club management software preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
