Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Facilities team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical abilities and a commitment to keeping our resort operating safely, smoothly, and efficiently. This role supports daily maintenance operations, repairs, preventive programs, and special projects across the property. This is a mid shift position working shifts from 12pm - 8:30pm with Sunday and Monday off
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on resort buildings, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor
- Assist with pool and spa maintenance, including water testing and equipment care
- Support groundskeeping, winter operations, and seasonal facility needs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues identified
- Ensure all work follows safety regulations, resort standards, and industry best practices
- Provide excellent internal customer service to staff and departments requesting assistance
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours situations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related trade
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge for work order systems and documentation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Pool operator, HVAC certification, or trade licenses a plus
- Hospitality or resort maintenance experience preferred but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
