- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes with accuracy
- Collect patient information, update medical records, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history and explaining treatment plans in a clear, compassionate manner
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, professionally addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Maintain organized dental records, handle filing of documents, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Proven experience in dental or medical office settings, especially as a front desk receptionist or administrative support role in pediatric clinics
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and medical record management
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive health information
