At Keowee Marina, service isn’t a department - it’s the backbone of our reputation. We’re a full-service, family-owned resort marina where expectations are high, customers are loyal, and execution matters.
We’re minutes from Clemson University and looking for an experienced Marine Service Advisor who knows how to run a service lane the right way—organized, proactive, and customer-first without losing control of the process.
The Role
You are the quarterback of the service experience.
From the first call to final pickup, you own communication, set expectations, drive revenue opportunities, and ensure every job leaves better than it came in.
This is not a clipboard job. This is a leadership position inside the service department.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing incoming service requests, estimates, and job progression
- Communicating clearly and consistently with customers (phone, text, email)
- Coordinating with technicians for efficient workflow and accurate timelines
- Identifying and presenting additional service opportunities—without being pushy
- Keeping clean, accurate records and pipeline updates (CRM required)
- Ensuring every boat is properly checked, documented, and ready for delivery
- Owning the customer experience from start to finish
What We Expect = Non-Negotiables
- Proven experience in a marine, or similar, service advisory role
- Strong understanding of boats and marine systems (or the ability to learn fast)
- High-level communication and follow-up discipline
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Confidence making decisions and solving problems without constant oversight
- Accountability - if it’s not documented, it didn’t happen
