Boat Yard Mover at Lake Keowee Marina

Lake Keowee Marina in Seneca, SC is looking for one Yard Mover to join our strong team.

Advancement & cross training opportunities for the right candidate.

Position is FT and year round, would consider FT but only for summer - if capable of driving trucks, tractors and boats.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for launch and retrieval of customer boats from dry storage units and boats for service department customers
• Overall quality control and care of all marina owned trailers & equipment used to move them - bearings, tongue jacks, wheels, bunks, lights, etc...
• Customer Service work if approached by customers, but not a standard part of the position
• Eye for detail - must watch for and report damage to boat and / or trailer causes by owner, guests, staff or other

Qualifications

• Must be experienced and comfortable operating trucks with small, medium and large boats in tow
• Experience driving vehicles with boat and trailer in tow on highways and launching on boat ramps
• Basic troubleshooting capabilities
• Must legally be able to operate a vehicle and vessel in SC
