Residential Construction Technology Teacher (10 - 12)
Lake Hamilton is seeking a Residential Construction Teacher for students in grades 1012. The ideal candidate will provide instruction in the residential construction Career and Technical Education Pathway using course standards while preparing students for careers in the construction industry.
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be able to obtain the required technical certificate to teach this program
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Strong classroom and lab management, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Teach residential construction courses for grades 1012
- Manage hands-on lab experiences and maintain a safe learning environment
- Assist students in earning required industry recognized certifications
- Build and maintain partnerships with business and industry
- Serve as SkillsUSA adviser, maintain an active chapter, and prepare students for state competition
Teacher salary scale / 210 day contract
