What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Monitor position at Lake George Central School District?
The Lake George Central School District is seeking to fill the position of School Bus Monitor. This is a 10-month Part-Time position. The employee will work 4 hours daily – 2 hours am and 2 hours pm. Another position will be 8 hours per day.
Salary: $17.50 per hour plus benefits as per the Lake George Transportation Association contract.
Duties: (Illustrative only)
All employees must pass fingerprint clearance.
Assists students in climbing aboard and alighting from a school bus;
Maintains order on a school bus while in transit;
May attend to the needs and safety of handicapped and special students on the bus; Delivers students from school bus to school buildings;
Assists students and driver as needed;
