REPORTS TO: DEAN OF THE SCHOOL OF ARTS, HUMANITIES, AND HONORS
STATUS: PART-TIME
Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for Adjunct Faculty, Art.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaches introductory sculptural processes, including ceramics as well as advanced experience in various 3D media.
- Leads classes such as Ceramics 1 & 2, Sculpture 1, and 3D Design.
- Ability to incorporate art history instruction, covering a survey of art from ancient to present day, is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:
- A minimum of a master’s degree in art.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment.
- Growth mindset and institutional teamwork ethic.
- Creative, strategic, and thoughtful.
