Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bradenton, FL, for an Assistant/Associate Pharmacy Practice Faculty role. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in both didactic and experiential settings, developing and delivering course content, participating in curriculum assessment and development, and engaging in scholarly activities. The role also involves contributing to service activities for the institution, pursuing professional development, and collaborating with healthcare practitioners for optimal student and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy Practice Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy practice, including medication therapy management and pharmacotherapy expertise.
- Teaching & Mentorship Skills: Ability to deliver course content, mentor students, and assess their educational progress effectively.
- Collaboration & Teamwork Skills: Experience working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to enhance educational and patient outcomes.
- Scholarly & Research Skills: Capacity to engage in scholarly activities, contribute to research initiatives, and develop publications related to pharmacy practice.
- Additional Requirements: Pharm.D. degree, active pharmacist licensure in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain one), and strong communication and organizational skills.
