Assistant High School Football Coach- Offensive Coordinator

Stipend Amount: Starts at $2,265/year; follows coaching salary schedule

Supervisor: Head Football Coach and Athletic Director
Estimated time commitment: 10-25 hours per week, depending on game schedule (The official season is August 3 through October 30, but there will be spring and summer practices.)
Detailed description of duties/responsibilities: :

• Lead Lake County girls’ soccer program
• Teach fundamental soccer skills, theory and strategy 
• Communicate positively and clearly with parents and athletes
• Supervise athletes at games and on the bus traveling to and from those events
• Build a positive team environment
• Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, academic excellence and positive school behavior
• Available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel with the team for games
• Cooperate/communicate with Lake County athletic director 
• Coordinate the distribution, collection and storage of equipment, supplies and uniforms
• Possess and maintain a moral character that is in congruence with the expectations of the Board of Education
• Certified in or willing to become certified in CPR and First Aid

Special qualifications, if any:

• Experience coaching, preferred but not required
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Knowledge of the game of soccer
