What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independence Grove Attendent position at Lake County Forest Preserve District?
SUMMARY
The Independence Grove Attendant provides customer service through the process of collecting user fees and disseminating site-specific information, assisting patrons with marina rentals and/or purchases, or answering phone calls. Aids in the safety of patrons by adhering to site rules and regulations, as well as applicable safety information. Maintains a general knowledge of Preserve operations in order to act as a reliable source for visitors. Assists in maintaining high standards of cleanliness of assigned work areas. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting. Performs lifting tasks up to 50 pounds.
EXPERIENCE
One year of experience in customer service. Experience in cash management is desired.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Anticipated Starting Rate: $15.75
