The Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
- Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. Must experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.
- Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Additional Requirements: Must have complete knowledge of physical plant within two weeks of hire.
Responsibilities
- Performs all tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance, and tests and inspections of the hospital.
- Clean and change air filters, kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.
- Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste from the hospital.
- Maintain hospital grounds in a neat and attractive appearance.
- Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance electrical test as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and safety/risk management plans policies and procedures.

Compensation:
This is a full time role and the expected compensation is $17.00 to $23.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Maintenance Worker.
