What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Maintenance Worker position at Fremont Township Highway Department?
Class A or B CDL required (preferably already with a CDL-A or B, but will consider hiring without. Applicant will be required to pass CDL testing within 6 months of hiring and maintain CDL for employment)
Random Drug and Alcohol testing required per Federal requirements for CDL drivers.
Must be able to lift 70 lbs
High school diploma required
On call seasonally for snow plow and emergency operations - must be available on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Road maintenance work includes tree trimming, concrete, asphalt, pipe changes, excavating, sign maintenance, snow plow operations, trash clean-up, equipment care.
