We are looking for a 1st shift Welder to join our growing Vadnais Heights, MN location. If you have TIG Welding experience and enjoy working with your hands, this could be a great position for you. Hand laser welding is a plus!

Responsibilities
- Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
- Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance
- Develops templates or tooling and other work aids to hold and align parts.
- Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
- Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.
- Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments
- welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, laser hand welding, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (hand laser welding preferred)
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
- Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
5:00am to 3:30pm Monday- Thursday (10-hours Shift)
