Painter - Liquid - Sheet Metal Industry

We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Painter with Liquid experience to join our Roseville, MN location. If you have wet paint experience and the ability to work out of our New Hope location as well, this may be the job for you!

 Responsibilities

• Inspect parts to ensure prepared for paint.
• Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid according to specifications.
• Pour coating liquid into spray container and connect the gun to the air hose.
• Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate the width and pressure of spray.
• Inspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas.
• Readjusts pressure valves to control the direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in the coating.
• Hand sprays parts to cover unpainted areas or apply rust preventative.
• Reviews product for flaws, differences in color or shade, or incomplete coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years varied painting experience 
• Excellent people skills
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
• Flexible and able to multi-task
