The purpose for which the Corporation was formed is to deliver culturally responsive long-term care programs and services, residential and community-based, to elderly citizens residing on or near the Laguna Indian Reservation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, oversees, and personally conducts the delivery of patient care as directed by physicians and other higher-level nursing staff.
Acts as the team leader with other professionals and Para-professionals in the delivery of patient care services.
Plans organizes, and coordinates the admission of patients: establishes patient care plan and coordinates under the direction of the M.D.
Maintains patient charts covering treatments, care and progress.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, medical staff and other fellow workers in the care team.
Experience:
Two years of experience performing professional nursing duties, preferably, in a small general acute care hospital.
