Lagniappe Weekly, Mobile’s award-winning independent newspaper, is looking for a motivated and highly organized Advertising Account Executive to join our energetic team. This position plays a key role in connecting local businesses with the Gulf Coast’s most engaged readers through print, digital and social media advertising.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing advertising clients.
- Identify creative ways to help businesses reach their marketing goals through Lagniappe’s multimedia platforms.
- Prepare and present customized advertising proposals.
- Manage contracts, deadlines and billing with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate with our editorial and design teams to deliver high-quality ads and campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Experience in advertising sales (print, digital, and social media experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the Mobile and Baldwin business community a plus.
