We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher / bus boy to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and ensure proper storage of clean items.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support food preparation staff by providing clean tools and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, culinary, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
