Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take customer orders accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Prepare tables by setting up utensils, glassware, and condiments.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Assist with clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the Dining area and Kitchen.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong culinary knowledge to answer menu-related questions effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.
