We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter / Waintress to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and serving in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests efficiently and managing reservations
- Uphold sanitation standards and food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Culinary experience or background in food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Experience in bussing tables, serving, cashiering, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in the food industry
