Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and providing prompt support to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed diligently to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service and address any special requests or dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including clearing plates, resetting tables, and assisting with overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or portioning dishes under supervision.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
