For the past four years, we have dedicated our efforts to addressing the overpopulation of homeless animals through sterilization campaigns, essential medical care, and support for shelters and rescues in Florida and Latin America.
We are a small foundation, but deeply committed. Our team is composed of volunteers who strongly believe in a more dignified, safe, and sustainable future for vulnerable dogs and cats. Our approach is practical, transparent, and focused on generating real, measurable results.

Role Overview
The Foundation Outreach & Community Volunteer supports Ladyhawk Animal Foundation’s mission to reduce animal suffering and overpopulation through community engagement, donor relations, and outreach initiatives. This role assists with administrative and coordination tasks that help expand the foundation’s impact across the United States and Latin America.
The volunteer will work closely with the Foundation’s leadership and engaged board members to support ongoing programs and fundraising efforts.

What We Do
- Sterilization campaigns in Florida and various Latin American countries.
- Partnerships with shelters, providing financial assistance, donations, supplies, and volunteer support.
- Essential veterinary care for animals in extreme vulnerability through partnership with low-income clinics.
- Educational programs that promote responsible pet ownership.
- Tax-deductible donation certificates (as a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States).
- More than 220 sterilizations completed in the last 3 years.
- Over 29 rescues and responsible rehoming.
- More than 79 donations and direct medical assistance.
- Active support for shelters and rescue organizations in Florida, Peru, and Colombia.
- Direct benefit for dozens of families through free or low-cost community clinics.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with donor outreach and follow-up communications
- Support community engagement initiatives and awareness campaigns
- Help coordinate fundraising events and partnerships
- Maintain and update donor and contact lists
- Assist with newsletters, thank-you messages, and campaign communications
- Support collaboration with shelters, rescue organizations, and veterinary partners
- Assist with social media content and outreach efforts, as needed
- Provide general administrative support related to foundation activities
- Strong interest in animal welfare and nonprofit work
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on commitments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Spanish preferred, as the foundation collaborates with partners and communities in both the United States and Latin America; full fluency is not required
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with diverse communities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
