Purpose:
Lady of the Sea General Hospital and Rural Health Clinics are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our clinic healthcare team. Located in Larose, Louisiana, we are only 45 minutes away from bigger cities such as Houma and Thibodaux, LA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of health conditions. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible by the ABMS or AOA in Family Medicine
- Louisiana Licensure or ability to obtain
- DEA and CDS with full prescriptive authority
- Interest in providing primary care in an outpatient setting
- Commitment to providing high quality, evidenced-based patient care
- Prior Family Practice experience preferred, will also consider a new or upcoming graduate in Family Medicine.
- Proficiency in patient care with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient caseloads efficiently.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of family medicine.
