Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Program Director to lead and oversee our community-based programs focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure program effectiveness and sustainability.
- Supervise staff and direct service providers, fostering a positive work environment that promotes professional growth and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and funding agencies to enhance service delivery and community engagement.
- Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and best practices in social work and behavioral health.
- Lead program development initiatives to expand services, improve quality standards, and incorporate innovative approaches.
- Manage administrative tasks such as reporting, documentation, and data analysis to monitor program outcomes and inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in social services or related fields, with a focus on programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Strong background in program development, program management, and supervising staff.
- Experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities; familiarity with behavioral health principles is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, community organizations, and funders.
- Demonstrated administrative experience including budgeting, documentation, and compliance oversight.
- Knowledge of social work practices combined with a compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a supportive environment focused on client-centered services.
