Sanitation Worker (Trash Route Specialist)

LACOSTA is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker – Trash Route Specialist to collect, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials across assigned client locations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining clean, safe, and efficient operations by ensuring all waste collection services are completed in accordance with company policies, safety regulations, and client expectations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality service while representing LACOSTA with professionalism.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week

• Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.00/hr

Job Duties:

• Collect, remove, and dispose of trash and recycling materials
• Maintain cleanliness of trash rooms, dumpsters, and surrounding areas
• Adhere to safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and ppe usage
• Additional note – Work environment is in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
• Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own steel-toed shoes/boots while working.
• Remove all jewelry and accessories.
