General Cleaner (Janitorial)

LACOSTA is looking for a General Cleaner to join our team in Lenexa, KS! The Janitor / Floor Care Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned facilities, while also performing specialized floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week

• Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.50/hr

Job Duties:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Perform floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing hard floors
• Operate floor machines such as auto scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers.
• Clean carpets using extractors or other equipment.

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
• Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own steel-toed shoes/boots while working.
• Remove all jewelry and accessories.
