Overview:
LaCorte Companies, Inc. is seeking an Accountant, Human Resources experience a plus.
Ideal candidate must be able to efficiently process weekly payroll and provide accurate management reports. Works with a high level of discretion, conscientious attention to details, and works independently.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Entire accounting function including processing weekly union payroll, payables, receivables, weekly and quarterly reconciliation.
- Employee benefit administration, new hire onboarding.
- Weekly Certified payroll reporting, Monthly union fringe reporting, and public work compliance reporting.
Education and Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience and Associates Degree in Finance preferred.
Experience with accounting software, Sage/Timberline software experience a plus.
NYS Notary Public License also a plus.
Computer skills as applicable to the position – Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Excel and MS Word required
Job type: Part time 20 /- hours, 3 day workweek, Flex hours (Monday - Thursday)
