Key Responsibilities:Dishwashing & Sanitation
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Maintain clean and organized dish pit, ensuring items are properly stored after washing.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when inventory is low.
- Ensure all surfaces, sinks, floors, and work areas in the dishwashing station are cleaned before, during, and after shifts.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and PPE guidelines.
- Set an example of friendly and efficient customer service for others to follow.
- Assist kitchen team members by restocking clean dishes, pans, and utensils.
- Dispose of trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment such as fryers, prep tables, and storage racks as directed.
- Support nightly kitchen cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Work collaboratively with cooks, team members, and managers to support kitchen efficiency.
- Communicate any issues with equipment, sanitation, or safety to the manager on duty.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with all team members.
- Arrive on time and ready to work.
- Follow uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Regularly required to communicate verbally, stand, walk, use hands for grasping and manipulating objects, reach with hands and arms, and perform movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Must be able to handle unprepared poultry products.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance and must lift and or move up to 25 pounds safely.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sanitation procedures.
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food service experience (preferred but not required).
