Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining smooth operations.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes during meal service to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and food service excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Experience supporting catering or banquet events is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting busy kitchen operations.
