This initiative addresses the challenge of translating high-level policies and fragmented workflows into a scalable, metrics-driven program that supports consistent oversight of AI initiatives across divisions, regions, and functions. A Program Manager will lead efforts to formalize governance processes, align stakeholders, and embed privacy, security, ethical, and regulatory standards into the development and deployment of AI solutions.

A Program Manager will lead efforts to formalize governance processes, align stakeholders, and embed privacy, security, ethical, and regulatory standards into the development and deployment of AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Program ownership: turn existing workshop outputs, state assessments, and workstream plans into an executable roadmap with thorough, clear phase gates, RACI, and success metrics.
- Process design & improvement: Construct end-to-end workflows for AI product compliance submissions, approvals, and tracking; roll out continuous-improvement loops.
- Metrics & tooling: Establish, implement, and maintain common systems/dashboards for compliance status, risk scoring, and governance KPIs.
- Cross-functional leadership: Lead the Responsible-AI Governance Council; face off and coordinate across legal, privacy, security, regulatory, quality, and architecture stakeholders.
- Change management: Spearhead organizational adoption via communications, training, and stakeholder alignment; implement governance expectations in SDLC and product-development playbooks.
- Strategic planning: Anticipate resource needs, identify portfolio-level risks, and suggest long-term team structure (e.g., divisional program/portfolio managers).
- 8-10 years leading complex, enterprise-wide programs in AI, digital health, or highly regulated tech domains.
- Superb program management, change-management, stakeholder influence, and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated track record standing-up governance frameworks, approval phase-gates, or risk-management systems.
- Proven expertise in at least two of the following: cybersecurity, data privacy, medical device or life-sciences regulatory affairs, quality systems, legal/compliance.
- Strong knowledge of modern AI/ML development practices, model lifecycle, and associated ethical considerations.
- Experience operationalizing Responsible-AI or trustworthy-AI programs.
- Familiarity with U.S. and EU AI-specific regulations (e.g., EU-AI-Act, NIST-AI-RMF).
- PMP or comparable program-management certification.
