LABUR is partnering with a client to identify a Senior Platform Engineer on a contract basis who will work alongside a Sr. AI Architect to configure, connect, and operationalize the AWS infrastructure underpinning an enterprise agentic AI platform. LABUR is partnering with a client to identify a Senior Platform Engineer on a contract basis who will work alongside a Sr. AI Architect to configure, connect, and operationalize the AWS infrastructure underpinning an enterprise agentic AI platform. This hands-on Platform Engineer brings deep AWS DevOps expertise and thrives on turning architectural blueprints into fully operational environments — standing up services, integrating components, and ensuring the platform runs reliably and securely at scale.
Responsibilities
- Configure and operationalize AWS platform services — including Bedrock, AgentCore, and supporting infrastructure — translating architectural direction into production-ready environments
- Connect and integrate AWS services end to end, ensuring seamless interoperability across compute, storage, networking, and AI/ML components
- Stand up and maintain the infrastructure supporting RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered services within the AWS ecosystem
- Manage and automate environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments across environments
- Troubleshoot platform issues across the AWS stack, diagnosing connectivity, performance, and configuration problems to maintain platform stability
- Collaborate closely with the AI Architect and engineering teams to translate platform requirements into well-configured, scalable infrastructure
- Maintain platform documentation including environment configurations, integration guides, and operational runbooks
- 8 years of professional experience with a strong focus on AWS DevOps and cloud infrastructure engineering
- Deep hands-on expertise configuring and integrating AWS services such as Bedrock, Lambda, S3, ECS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch
- Proven ability to stand up and connect cloud platform components end to end in enterprise environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation) for provisioning and managing AWS resources
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across the AWS stack
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to take architectural direction and execute independently
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred
$65-$75/hour
