Business Analyst – Clinical Development / Planisware Implementation
LABUR is partnering with a client in the biotechnology and life sciences industry to identify an experienced Business Analyst – Clinical Development / Planisware Implementation. This individual will support the implementation and ongoing expansion of Planisware, a core platform for clinical development planning, portfolio management, resource forecasting, and scenario planning. Working closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and project leadership, this role will gather detailed requirements and help establish the foundation for clinical development planning across the organization. This is a 12-month contract engagement with potential for extension. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement.

This individual will support the implementation and ongoing expansion of Planisware, a core platform for clinical development planning, portfolio management, resource forecasting, and scenario planning. Working closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and project leadership, this role will gather detailed requirements and help establish the foundation for clinical development planning across the organization. Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops across Clinical Development to uncover both stated and underlying business needs.
- Elicit, document, analyze, and validate detailed business and functional requirements, including User Requirements Specifications (URS) for multiple implementation phases.
- Translate clinical development processes into system capabilities and workflows in partnership with business and IT teams.
- Support the implementation and optimization of Planisware for clinical trial planning, program and portfolio management, resource forecasting, scenario planning, and financial and operational forecasting.
- Assist with data migration activities from existing planning tools, including Smartsheet-based processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, implementation partners, and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered appropriately.
- Support testing, validation, process documentation, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- 5 years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise software implementations.
- Experience working within a life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or clinical development environment.
- Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with Planisware or comparable PPM (Project Portfolio Management) platforms such as Planview, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of clinical trials, clinical development processes, resource planning and forecasting, and portfolio and program management.
- Experience supporting data migrations and system integrations.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly.
